Please join me in congratulating Dr. Jack Nicholls who passed his Ph.D. viva voce with flying colours last Friday. His thesis is entitled “Deep Graph Networks for Analysing Illicit Activity in Cryptocurrency to Combat Financial Cybercrime” was accepted with no correction. During his PhD study, Dr. Jack Nicholls, a member of UCD ML-Labs Cohort 2 and UCD ASEADOS research group, has had great contributions to UCD ML-Labs, the School of Computer Science and International Law Enforcement with significant awards, nominations, keynote talks, training as well as 3 (pending) patents with MasterCard, Ireland where he did his ML-Labs’ internship.
